Do you love words, songwriting, rapping, poetry? Come join us in the learning commons and share your creativity!

Poetry Contest?

At the learning commons you will find posters of several different kinds of poetry:  ballads, haiku, cinquain, concrete, etc.  We invite you to try your hand at as many different kinds of poetry as you can and submit them to our POETRY CONTEST.  Winners of the contest will have their poetry published in a book.

Do you like to act or make movies?  Then take any poem you like and make a movie showing your interpretation through a movie.

Mr. Lamb will offer poetry workshops during study hall so stop by and let us know when you are ready to work.  The focus is all about writing poetry for performance so that you can perform (or have your work performed) in a Poetry Slam at the end of the month or beginning of May.
